After that in 2010, Sonakshi has debuted in the film Dabangg opposite Salman Khan. The film was a massive hit and it was the highest grosser in 2010. She has worked very hard in the movie and had lost 30 kg of weight to play the role. Sonakshi has received many appreciation and awards for her role in Dabangg.
In 2012, she had done four films, Rowdy Rathore, Joker, Son of Sardar and Dabangg 2. Among which Rowdy Rathore opposite Akshay Kumar and Dabangg 2 opposite Salman Khan was a massive hit. But Joker was a disaster at the Box Office and Son of Sardar was average.
In 2014, Sonakshi Sinha has done her first Tamil film Lingaa opposite the great actor Rajnikanth. The film becomes hit at the Box Office and also she was appreciated for her role in the film.
