She was born on March 19th, 1984 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India to a conservative Hindu Bengali family. Tanushree Dutta age is 34 as of 2018. Her father, Tapan Dutta was an ex-employee of LIC (Life Insurance Corporation Of India). And her mother, Sikha Dutta is a homemaker. Tanushree Dutta has a sister, Ishita Dutta who is also an actress of Bollywood.
Lifestyle: She is a type of shy and introverted person. She loves to travel and her favourite destinations are Ladakh, Europe, USA etc. Bengali Fish Curry, Chicken, Mangoes are her favourite foods. Among beverages, she loves coffee and ice tea.
Being from a typical Bengali family, Tanushree was exposed to Indian classical music and dance from her childhood. After that, in the same year, she has also participated in the Miss World Beauty Pageant and was among the top 10 finalists. During the rehearsal of an item song from the movie “Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss” in 2008, she claimed that she was misbehaved or sexually harassed on the set by the actor Nana Patekar. She gave an interview to Zoom TV that the veteran actor Nana Patekar wants to touch her body during the song which was not even scripted.
According to her, Nana Patekar pushed her to the wall and she defence it which caused a huge ruckus. She also told that just after this incident, her car was crushed out of frustration where her parents were also present inside the car. She thanks to God that no one got harmed because arrived and controlled the situation. It was an allegation of the involvement of some political parties.
After ten years of this incident, she filed an FIR on 6th October 2018 at Oshiwara Police Station against the veteran actor Nana Patekar, Choreographer Ganesh Acharya, Producer Sami Siddiqui and Director Rakesh Sarang.
