#MeToo Movement | Sexually Harassment of Sonal Vengurlekar | Controversy
After various celebrity who came forward to reveal about the sexual harassments done to them, Sonal Vengurlekar also came forward and reveal about her sexual harassment. This movement again comes live after Tanushree Dutta discloses about her harassment.
According to her in 2012, the photographer Rajesh V Bajaj popularly known as Raja Bajaj sexually harassed her. She claimed that the photographer had forcibly touched her breasts to apply some cream.

According to her statement to media, “The time when I had started giving auditions and got an opportunity on a casting website. I called the number which was mentioned on the website and was told by the person, Raja Bajaj to come for an audition in Borivali.
He then started talking about his daughter, Sheena Bajaj success and how much she earns and blah blah.
I gave the audition, but couldn’t deliver the dialogues properly as I was untrained. Raja Bajaj told me that I have a good face, but for a better understanding of the profession, I have to assist him on a shoot. I agreed to the offer and a few days later, he asked me to go to Lonavala with him for the shoot and I should inform my family that it would be a day-long assignment.
He then picked me up from Powai on March 5, 2012, along with a model. He introduced me to the model and said that there will be a photo shoot with her at a resort in Khopoli. When we reached there, I saw another model with her mother present at the resort.
After some time, he told me to try some outfits, but I wondered why he says so, as the shoot was with another model. I didn’t think much and walked towards my room to do so. But, I realised that he was following me to the room. Raja had carried a cream bottle in his hand and has told me to apply it on my breasts before wearing those outfits to give a proper shape to them. When I refused to do so, he then came forward and forcibly applied the cream on my breasts. I got scared and ran away from the incident”.
