Mahira Khan Date of Birth and Family –
Mahira Khan was born on 21st December 1984 in Karachi, Pakistan to an Urdu-Speaking Pathans family. Mahira’s father name is Hafeez Khan and he was born in Delhi during the British Rule and after the partition, he has migrated to Pakistan. She has a younger brother named Hassan Khan, who is a journalist by profession.
Mahira Khan Education –
Mahira Khan did her schooling from Foundation Public School, Karachi, Pakistan where she has completed her O-levels at the age of 16. After completing her schooling, for higher education, Mahira moved to California, United States, at the age of 17 where she has taken admission into Santa Monica College in Los Angeles.
After that, Mahira Khan has attended the University of Southern California for her Bachelor’s degree. But she has not completed her degree and returned to Pakistan in 2008.

Mahira Khan first started her career as a VJ in 2006, where she has hosted the live show Most Wanted on MTV Pakistan which is telecast 3 days a week. After that, she has hosted the reality show Weekends with Mahira in 2008 where Mahira spoke to celebrity guests, played music videos and also took calls from the viewers and this show was hosted at Aag TV.
In 2011, Mahira Khan has debuted in the Pakistani Film Industry with the film Bol as a supporting actress. There she played a character whose name was Ayesha, a girl from a middle-class family living in Lahore. The movie Bol was a big commercial success and became one of the highest grosser of all time in Pakistan Film Industry. In the same year, Mahira Khan has debuted in the TV Drama Neeyat which was directed by Mehreen Jabbar where she played the role of Ayla and the serial was set in New York.
Mahira has done several movies and TV dramas in the past few years. She has done Bin Roye, Manto, Ho Mann Jahan, Actor in Law, Raees, Verna etc.
Mahira Khan has debuted in the Bollywood Film Industry with the film Raees opposite Shah Rukh Khan as a lead actress. The movie was bit controversial before the release but all things were sorted out and the movie was a modest commercial success. Mahira became the first Pakistani actress to enter into Bollywood 100 cr club movie. The movie grossed over $39 Million Dollars Worldwide, i.e. approx 300 crores worldwide.
