Kenneth Sebastian or popularly known as Kenny Sebastian is a standup comedian, producer and a musician. He is one of the youngest celebrity comedians of India. Kenny Sebastian was born on December 31st 1991 in Kerala, India but he was brought up in different parts of India because his father was a Navy personnel.

He has completed his degree in Visual Arts but accidentally he chose comedy. And Sebastian carries on his comedian carrier by full energy. He is a very talented and successful stand-up comedian. Kenny has done over 200 shows around the world.

Early Life

Kenny Sebastian age is 26 as of 2017 and he was grown up in Karnataka. He did his schooling in Kendriya Vidyalaya NAL, Bangalore, Karnataka and his graduation in the college Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore, Karnataka. During his school days, he was much more interested in filmmaking rather than his studies. So he has done his graduation in Visual Arts.

At the age of 15, Kenny Sebastian started making movies but he does not have any camera so he borrowed one from his friend and started filmmaking. By the age of 23, he already directed 12 short films and 2 feature films.

His Career

Later on April 14th 2008, he started his Youtube channel ‘Kenny Sebastian’ and launched his first video “9 hours to live”. He then started making some parody videos and slowly, gained followers. At the time of writing this article, he has over 1.4 Million subscribers and 136+ Million views.

When Kenny Sebastian was 19 years old, he has participated in stand-up comedian competition at the IIT Mumbai Fest. And he has eventually won that competition. From then he has a clear vision of his career and never look back.

In 2012, he has edited a motion picture “Station” and also has become a part of an improvisational group “The Improv” which is produced by Centerstage. Kenny was signed by a talent management company known as Agentc, which is run by Thomas Course who also runs the Canvas Laugh Factory.

In the year 2014, Kenny wrote and directed a season titled, “The Living Room“, which is the first sketch comedy television show. Now he is working on the second season of his popular series Star Boyz and the next session of Chai Time with Kenny.

Kenny Sebastian runs a Bangalore based film studio, “Kennymedia” where he has produced over 200 corporate videos including Advertisements, Graphic Prints, Animations etc.
He has done many corporate including clients like Flipkart, Google, Deloitte, Calvin Klein, Wipro, Adobe etc.
He started making videos when he was only 15 years old by borrowing a camera from a friend.
At the age of 19, he won the stand-up comedian competition at the IIT Bombay fest.
He has performed along with many famous comedians such as Vir Das, Phil Nichol (UK), Raj Sharma (US, HBO), Imran Yusuf (UK), Tanmay Bhat of AIB and many more.
Kenny Sebastian also started a monthly live video blog called “Chai Time with Kenny”. It is an interactive programme in which he casually chats with people over tea, with simple topics of discussion.
